Transition from Higher Education to Employment - Perspectives of Recent Graduates and Families: A webinar hosted by Colorado's Office of Employment First. In May 2020 Colorado saw our first graduates of inclusive higher education pathways! Hear from those graduates on how college prepared them for their future careers. Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) & Employment Support: The Division of Vocational Rehabilitation provides a wide variety of individualized services to support people with disabilities to reach their employment goals. In this webinar, Darby Remley, guest speaker from Colorado DVR, provides an overview of DVR, ways students within inclusive higher education programs can access DVR, and how DVR can continue to support post-graduation. Statewide Movement for Inclusive Higher Education

Needs Assessment Results & Next Steps: The results are in! From April-July 2021 IN! conducted a statewide needs assessment to better understand college interests of students with intellectual disabilities (ID) across the state, and barriers to college that they may be facing. This recorded presentation provides a summary of the findings and a discussion of ways we can all collaborate to improve college access for students with intellectual disabilities. Status of Inclusive Higher Education in Colorado Spring 2021: Senate Bill 16-196 created a 5-year pilot program to establish inclusive higher education programs for students with intellectual disabilities at the University of Northern Colorado, University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, and Arapahoe Community College.
