Sam's Words of Wisdom
- What has the opportunity to go to college meant for you?: It's meant so much to me. I'm really happy I got the opportunity to go to college. It made me a better man and made me get out of my comfort zone a little bit and be more happier. Being able to have a lot more in your life like being independent. Getting the option to live on campus, too. I know some people don't get to live that dream, but some people DO get to live that dream, and that's a really good thing to have. I hope all people can have that, disability or not.
- What did you learn about yourself during college?: I am learning to be more independent. I have learned so much from going to college! I've learned how to make sure to be on time to my classes and tutoring sessions. I also learned stuff in the classes I've been taking that I didn't even know about! It's really nice to actually learn something. I have been learning something, and I'm going to be continuing to do more learning!
- What advice do you have for incoming freshmen?: Have fun! It's okay when stuff is hard. If you need help, just ask for help. You guys will do it, even though sometimes it will be tiring! I belive in you all. You should come to college if it's a good fit for you. Learn a lot of cool stuff! You should go to college if you want, disability or not. Be calm, work hard, every thing will be okay, do good in college and have fun!
