- Favorite Part of College: Everything! I loved working with the OIS staff. And playing club tennis. I met my boyfriend in college, so that is cool too.
- Plans After Graduation: Find a job using ASL, and probably live with my parents for a while.
Emerald's Words of Wisdom
- What has the opportunity to go to college meant for you?: It means a lot. I loved college, and now that I have learned how to do college, I am going to go to Pikes Peak State College to study to be an ASL interpreter. I got that from my time at UCCS.
- What did you learn about yourself during college?: I got a lot of confidence and learned I could handle work and school. I learned I am going to have a great life.
- What advice do you have for incoming freshmen?: Have fun! Don't be afraid to ask questions. Be sure to learn the shuttle and Canvas Calendar!
